Eid Festival Celebration in India – Eid Mubarak Wallpapers – Eid Photos

Eid is the most prominent celebration among the muslims all over the world. Eid is the celebration among the Muslims with dedication to God.  During the happy days of Eid, devotees give importance to prayers, meet friends and families, share sweets to each other and also contribute some relief works to poor. They are of two types: Eid ul Fitr and Eid ul Adha. The Eid ul fitr is a festival that marks the end of the Ramzan fasting and generally falls on a new moon night. Ramzan, the 9th month in the Muslim calendar, according to legend the Holy Quran was revealed in this month and thus the month is regarded as highly auspicious. The Ramzan is solely destined to dedicate oneself to Allah. Fasting and prayers are the main events in this month and at the end of the month the celebration Eid ul fitr comes.

Eid ul adha or Bakriid is a celebration to honor and remember the readiness of Prophet Ibrahim to follow Allah’s (God’s) command to sacrifice his son Ismail. Muslims all around the world celebrate the day with full pleasure. The Hajj annual pilgrimage (journey to Mecca) is occurred in the month of Bakrid. The day after Hajj is the start of Eid ul adha or Bakrid celebration.
